You don’t need to be fluent, but should be comfortable with basic English sentences and exchanges. Our classes focus on real conversation from the start, so a small foundation helps. If you’re a beginner, contact us for guidance. Otherwise, we’ll assess your English on a free call, then group you by level.

Jumping into speaking practice can be scary, but here’s why we think you’ll be fine:
- Your teacher gives you the words and phrases you’ll need to speak, and stays close if you get stuck.
- We build a friendly environment where everyone respects and supports each other, and different opinions are welcomed.
- No one expects you to sound like a native speaker from day one. You just need to sound like yourself, trying to learn.

It’s four learners per group and a teacher. Your group is matched by level and meets twice a week: once for a structured speaking lesson and once for a speaking club. Everyone’s from a different country, so English is the only shared language in the room.

Our lessons are fully online, so you can join from anywhere. After our free call, we send you a form where you can tell us when you’re free, and we put you in the right group.

You pay for 4 weeks at a time, and it renews automatically so your seat in the group stays yours. You can stop whenever you like, just tell us before the next 4 weeks begin and you won’t be charged again. And if you don’t like your very first group lesson, we’ll move you to another group or send your money right back.

Hi, we’re Daniil & Sasha!
We’ve lived in various countries and we’ve experienced how different a language is in a textbook vs. real life. That’s where the idea for Still Brewing started: to bring real conversational English and create a space where you can practise it.
